Course Description
Child Care State requirements for in home, franchised, nonprofit and for profit providers must have mandatory trainings annually to be Licensed. All administrators, educators, and operational staff onsite during program hours must complete all mandatory trainings. (See Courses ECE001, ECE002, ECE004, ECE005).
In addition, Nutritionists and CACFP sponsors must meet current CACFP guidelines for federal food funding. (See Course ECE004)
Mandatory Classes are held on Saturday mornings at 9:00am sharp. Doors open at 8:30am
Class participants must register online. Classes available first come first serve till filled.
Mandatory Class Training
ECE Course 001* | $90.00
Four (4) hour class; maximum 10 participants per session
American Red Cross First Aid & CPR Certified Training
Two year certificate to ensure safety for children. BFTS requirement for all staff
ECE Course 002* | $90.00
Two (2) hour class.
Child Abuse (BFTS Hrs.) – Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse. Participants will walk away from this training defining the four types of abuse, and list the five physical indicators, five behavioral indicators for identifying child abuse. The participants will understand mandated reporters and list procedures for reporting child abuse.

Four (4) hour class. Third (3) Saturday of each month
Development Plan/ Vision Board “Dream Catcher” (BFTS Hrs.) – “Dream Catcher” is created to provide a vision board for teachers, administration to identify personal professional development goals. Participants will leave with a visual and a SWOT Analysis to obtain short term goals in one year, three years and five years. The training will prompt classroom enrichment from the early childhood educator in the classroom, small business owners how to develop and support staff. Administration increase efficiency in supporting staff and career advancement. Come relax and walk away with a clear vision for yourself and staff.

Child and Adult Food Program “CACFP” (BFTS Hrs.) – Introduce new CACFP guidelines
ECE Course 005* | $90.00
Six (6) hour class.
Health and Safety Check – Conduct classroom safety compliance.
